Material price analysis

The materials used in the technology of structural strengthening with carbon fiber are mainly carbon fiber cloth and bonding materials. Among them, the carbon fiber cloth used in China is currently mainly combined with bonding materials. The overall material price is higher or the same as that of general traditional reinforcement materials. In terms of bonding materials, the three bonding materials are required to have good bonding properties with the carbon fiber sheet used, and must match in terms of physical and mechanical properties. The resin bonding materials that can be cured at room temperature can be produced in China. At present, the price of carbon fiber cloth materials (including corresponding bonding materials) in the domestic market is about 500-1000 yuan per square meter depending on the type of material. The price of carbon fiber board materials (including corresponding knotting materials) is about 5,000 to 8,000 yuan depending on the type of material. Compared with the more commonly used bonding steel reinforcement method, the material price is higher, especially the price of carbon fiber board is much higher. However, carbon fiber reinforced materials are slightly more expensive, but the later maintenance costs are lower, and the overall benefits are much better than other reinforcements.

Construction analysis

During the construction of reinforced concrete structures with carbon fiber sheets, due to the light weight of the materials (the commonly used carbon fiber cloth is only 200-600g/m2), packaging, transportation, storage and construction are all convenient to rent. 1) Short construction period

Carbon fiber cloth reinforced concrete structure does not require large machinery and equipment. Under the condition of good construction organization in China, 10 working days can complete 1,000 square meters of work. The finished carbon fiber cloth is a kind of fabric, its width can be 20, 30, 50 cm, and the length is 50-100 m, and it is packaged in roll form. When used in the field, it can be cut arbitrarily with scissors or blades as needed, unlike steel plates that require special cutting tools. According to relevant statistical data, the same method of sticking reinforcement, sticking carbon fiber cloth is 4-8 times the work efficiency of sticking steel plate.


2) Small construction disturbance

The construction of the carbon fiber cloth reinforced structure can be implemented in a small space, except that the dust during the concrete surface treatment needs to be controlled, and there is almost no interference with the normal use of general structures. When the bridge and road are reinforced with carbon fiber cloth, the traffic can be uninterrupted.


3) The construction quality is easy to guarantee

The construction and operation of carbon fiber cloth reinforced concrete structure technology is convenient. Under normal construction conditions, the effective bonding area of carbon fiber cloth can basically reach 100%. And the on-site inspection is convenient, even if there is a small hollow drum, it can be remedied by the needle injection method, and the construction quality can be effectively guaranteed.


Due to the short construction period and high efficiency of carbon fiber cloth reinforced concrete structure, the materials are processed manually on site. There is no loss of large and medium-sized equipment. The detection is convenient and fast, and the construction can be carried out in a small space at the same time, which basically does not affect the normal use of the structure, and the construction is convenient. The construction period is very short, and most of the shapes of various structural members can be reinforced by this method.
