How to carry out carbon fiber reinforcement for tunnels?


Generally, tunnels mostly adopt straight-wall vault structures, and the semi-circular roof should not be damaged in terms of structural stress. Under normal circumstances, it does not need to be reinforced, unless the construction quality is not good enough, and there are construction quality problems. In this case, carbon fiber reinforcement is not very useful. If the tunnel has a large clearance and there is room for secondary lining reinforcement, then secondary lining reinforcement is used.


For the straight wall part, if it is damaged, it can be reinforced with carbon fiber, and a special construction plan should be prepared. After confirmation by the design, supervision, Party A and other relevant units, find a professional construction team for construction. Do not find someone who does not understand carbon fiber reinforcement. It is a construction team that does not understand reinforcement, which will cause more trouble.


If the tunnel is not a straight wall vault structure, but a rectangular section, then the top of your tunnel may also need to be reinforced. This reinforcement can also be reinforced with carbon fiber.


No matter what kind of structure you take, which part of the tunnel is damaged, and which method is adopted for reinforcement, for underground engineering, the reinforcement treatment can only be limited to internal treatment. Generally, there is no way to deal with the exterior of the tunnel, so it will bring a new problem, which is the waterproof problem. When the rehabilitation project is cracked and damaged or there are construction quality problems, there is still no good way to block the groundwater and ensure that the groundwater does not leak into the tunnel, because the water pressure of the groundwater is too high. Therefore, if you want to reinforce the interior of the tunnel with carbon fiber, the construction is also a difficult problem.


For underground engineering, after a problem occurs, the first consideration under normal circumstances is still to take the second floor to be restored, of course, it must be under the condition of structural safety. If the structure itself is not safe, it must first be reinforced with structural carbon fiber to make the structure safe. After the second floor is reclaimed, drainage measures can be taken between the second floor and the first floor to ensure the safety and normal use of the tunnel.
