Reasons For Unsuccessful Pull Our Test In Rebar

post installed anchor

The pull out test in rebar is failed. This seems to be a real problem.

Horse sorted out the following possible reasons:

1. If the construction is not in accordance with the design requirements, the hole diameter may be too small and the drilling depth does not meet the requirements;

2. The dust or water stains in the hole are not cleaned up;

3. The surface of the steel bar has not been degreasing or derusting;

4. The planting glue is not fully mixed;

5. The amount of glue injected into the hole is insufficient or there is a gap;

6. There may be external pulling force during the curing process.

The most likely reason is that there is not enough curing time.

If the colloid is pulled out without curing, there are two possible results:

One is that the steel bars are pulled out directly, and the concrete is not involved;

The second is that while the steel bars are pulled out, the concrete is pulled out together.

For the first type of concrete that is not pulled out, you only need to replant the bars at this time, but it should be noted that the holes at this time are not clean, so you need to go through the standard planting steps:

1. Drill holes as required to ensure the size of the hole and the depth of the hole;

2. Special air cylinders and brushes must be used to clean the dust in the holes, and the repetition should not be less than 3 times;

3. Derust the steel surface and wipe it clean with acetone or alcohol;

4. If you use barreled planting glue, mix the glue and curing agent evenly in proportion to inject it into the hole; if you use injection-type planting glue, you need to squeeze out the glue that is not evenly mixed at the front of the glue gun before construction .

5. When injecting glue, it must be slowly injected into the hole to ensure that there are no bubbles or voids in the hole, and the amount of glue injected must not be less than 2/3 of the hole depth;

6. In the initial stage of curing, the steel bar cannot be shaken or welded.

For the second type of concrete being pulled out, there are two solutions at this time:

Instead of planting the bar in the original position, plant the bar in another position.

If the reinforcement can only be planted in the original position, the concrete needs to be filled at this time.

The material for filling concrete is epoxy mortar, which takes 7 to 10 days to cure;

Or use grout, which takes 28 days to cure.

Of course, after filling the concrete, it is still necessary to replant the bars in accordance with the specifications.

So, leave enough time for the colloid to cure. After all, beautiful things are worth the wait~

Finally, a video of the 3D construction process of Hummer's rebar glue is attached to carefully explain each operation step for you.
